Make Fried Cabbage Patties In A Few Simple Steps

Cabbage patties are simply the best! They are healthy, super easy to make, and delicious. You have to try with any sour sauce, it’s amazing. Everybody in your family will surely enjoy these patties, even the kids.
Step 1 – Prepare The Cabbage

Start from washing the cabbage after that remove the old and loose outer layer of leaves and cut the stem with a sharp knife.
Now slice the cabbage thinly and well chop it. Put the cabbage in a bowl and add hot water to cover the whole cabbage.
Boil it for only 5 minutes.

Take a colander and put inside a small bowl, place a kitchen towel and transfer the whole pieces of cabbage into the towel.
Rest to cool for around 20 minutes, now squeeze the towel containing the cabbage to remove all water.
Step 2 – Prepare The Batter

In a bowl beat 2 eggs with a fork and season salt and pepper. Now add flour and gradually mix well.
Finely add chopped parsley and red onions into it and do not overmix the better but mix well.

Now it is time to add the cabbage to the mixture and combine it as well.
Step 3 – Form The Patties

Get a spoonful of the mixture then form into a patty. Coat it with the breadcrumbs. Repeat with the remaining cabbage mixture
Step 4 – Fry And Enjoy!

Add vegetable oil into a pan, then place over low heat. Once the oil is hot, add the patties.
Fry on medium heat on both sides until golden brown. Serve the fried cabbage patties with sauce.
